We would like to introduce "The Rubenshof" to you. We are René and Mieke Corvers-Pels and together with chambermaids, Mariolla and Dorota, we form the staff of the hotel.

The Rubenshof is a one star hotel with 22 rooms situated in a former cardinal's residence which dates back to 1890. Around the year 1910 an Art Nouveau wing was added to the main building.

The rooms are simply and tastefully decorated.

The Rubenshof is centrally located on the Amerikalei in "Het Zuid" with its mix of theatres, galleries, boutiques and all kinds of places to go out.
On a few minutes walking distance you find the museum of fine art, the museum of contemporary art and the museum of photography.
The Rubenshouse ("Rubenshuis"), Grote Markt, the Cathedral, the birdsmarket ("Vogeltjesmarkt"), the river Schelde and almost all other places of interest are easily to be reached by foot.
There are good tramway connections with for example the Central Railway Station and the Grote Markt.
